Cardinals Appear When Angels Are Near Cardinal Pair Glass Christmas Ornament

For the one who isn't at the table this year

A bright red cardinal and his soft grey-and-rose mate sit face to face on a bare winter branch. Beneath them, in a mix of script and simple capitals: Cardinals appear when angels are near. The scene is printed on a clear round glass ornament, so the tree lights glow straight through it, finished with an ornate silver-tone cap.

Many people believe a cardinal at the window is a visit from someone they've lost. This ornament keeps that visit on the tree every December.

A gentle memorial or sympathy gift — for a family's first Christmas without someone, or for anyone who smiles when they see a cardinal.
