Each Pixiwoo piece is printed with UV-cured ink on stained glass, it'll last longer if you treat it like the small object of joy it is. Here's how.
Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. For dust buildup, use a slightly damp microfiber cloth β never paper towels (they scratch the surface).
Skip household cleaners, alcohol, and anything with ammonia.
Soap and water is the strongest thing your piece needs.
Suncatchers love sunlight β that's the whole point. UV-cured ink is designed to handle direct sun for years.
That said, if you live somewhere intensely sunny year-round (looking at you, Phoenix), rotating the piece every 6 months keeps colors even on both sides.
Use the included suction cup or hook for windows. For walls, a 3M Command strip works well and won't damage paint.
If you're using a string or wire, check the knot every few months β humidity can loosen them over time.
Avoid hanging directly above heat sources like radiators or fireplaces.

Wrap the piece in soft cloth or bubble wrap. Store flat in a box, not standing upright.
Keep away from radiators, ovens, and direct heat sources.
If you're shipping the piece (gifting, moving), use the original packaging if you still have it.
The honest answer: wherever it makes you smile when you walk past it. But if you want the colors to really sing, here's what we've learned.
MORNING LIGHT
East-facing windows give you the prettiest light from sunrise to about 11am. Soft, warm, golden β the kind that makes everything look like a film still.
Best for: pieces with warm tones (terracotta, amber, sunset palettes).
ALL-DAY LIGHT
South-facing windows get the most light overall β strong from late morning through afternoon. Colors will be vibrant, but the contrast is high.
Best for: bold geometric designs and high-saturation pieces. Less ideal for soft pastels β they can get washed out.
SOFT LIGHT
North-facing windows have steady, indirect light all day. Less drama, more calm.
Best for: pastel pieces, watercolor-style designs, and any space where you want the piece to feel gentle rather than glowing.
No window? No problem. Pixiwoo pieces look great in bathrooms, hallway corners, and on bookshelves with small fairy lights behind them. We've seen them on nursery walls, kitchen herb shelves, and even taped to laptop screens. (Yes, really.)
