A note on how we price things at Pixiwoo — and why "founding customers" actually means something here.

Why we price things the way we do

When we launched Pixiwoo, we made a promise to ourselves: no fake sales, no manufactured urgency, no tricks.

That doesn't mean we never offer a discount — we do. New subscribers get $5 off their first order as a thank-you for joining our community. Founding customers get launch pricing on every new collection. Both are real, both are honest, and both are exactly what they say they are.

What we don't do:

• Sitewide percentage-off banners that never actually go away
• Compare-at prices that were never real to begin with
• Countdown timers designed to make you panic-buy
• "Last chance" emails when there's no actual deadline

Here's the difference: a real welcome offer is a thank-you. A fake 70%-off banner is a manipulation tactic. We do the first, never the second.

How Founding Pricing actually works

Every time we launch a new collection, the first 500 orders ship at our Founding Price. This is our way of saying thank you to the people who took a chance on us before reviews piled up, before the collection went viral on Pinterest, before we became "the brand everyone has."

After 500 orders, that collection moves into our regular catalog at standard pricing — usually 10–20% higher than the Founding Price. No banner, no countdown, no drama. The price just changes, and the collection becomes part of our always-on lineup.

That's it. No tricks. No "sale" pricing that mysteriously becomes the regular price. No inventory clearance theater.

If you're shopping during a Founding Phase right now, the announcement bar at the top of our site will tell you. If there's no banner, you're shopping at our standard catalog price — the one we believe is fair for the work that went into the piece.

A note on welcome discounts

If you signed up for our email list, you got a $5 off code for your first order. That code works on every collection in our standard catalog — but it doesn't apply to Founding Pricing collections.

Why? Because Founding Pricing already includes our launch discount. Stacking another discount on top would mean we're either selling at a loss, or we were inflating the price to begin with. Neither feels right to us.

So here's the rule: one discount at a time, applied honestly. Your $5 welcome code will be waiting for you on any of our core collections, whenever you're ready.
