About this collection

Most of our frogs are cut from lightweight holographic acrylic. These nine are not.

Each piece here is printed on real 0.5 cm stained glass, edged in reinforced zinc, and finished as a round panel. Hold one up and you feel the difference immediately β€” the weight, the way color sits inside the glass instead of on top of it, the way the edge catches light on its own.

The frogs are the same frogs: a couple on a branch, a parent carrying a little one on a leaf, a red-eyed tree frog leaping out of the water, one reading the paper on a lily pad. Same small quiet moments β€” just made the traditional way, for people who want the real thing.

Questions, answered

Is this real glass?

Yes. Every piece in this collection is real 0.5 cm stained glass with a reinforced zinc edge. Our other frog suncatchers are holographic acrylic β€” if a listing says Holographic Acrylic in the title, it is not glass.

Is the print on both sides?

No. Stained glass pieces are printed on one side, so hang them with the printed side facing into the room.

What sizes are available?

6 in, 7.8 in, 9.8 in and 11.8 in round. 9.8 in is the size most customers choose for a standard window.

How is it shipped?

Each panel ships in a padded box with the chain and suction cup included. Glass is heavier than acrylic, so please check the shipping estimate at checkout.
